Temp Info Dump (WIP)
 | Long story short: Rhulk is a genocidal alien with an extreme, fanatical devotion to the entity known as "The Witness" which is essentially the embodiment of the Darkness. He is responsible for the destruction of his home planet, Lubrae, and the near total annihilation of his own race, of which he is the last. Approximately 20' (610cm) tall. It's difficult to judge whether he is wearing clothing or simply has some kind of thick, armour-like exoskeleton. His hands and feet are clearly bare. Other parts of him (the lower half of his face, his wrists and ankles) appear to be covered. He wears a beaded bracelet and anklet. His "skin" is almost entirely red apart from part of his chest and the ruff around his neck, which are white, and his head, the upper half of which is black. Though much of his concept art shows him with five fingers, with the third and fourth digit attached together and moving as one, his in-game model appears to have only four (presumably as it's easier to animate), the last, smallest digit is opposable in the same manner as the thumb. He has four short toes on each foot. His nails are long and thick, black, and blunt. He appears to be digitigrade, or have an additional joint in the leg (it's hard to tell which). He has six eyes arranged in three pairs vertically, which irises which glow yellow and are shaped like strange symbols. His mouth is not visible but lore references his people having long, sharp teeth which can be used aggressively. Injury causes his skin to turn much darker, almost black, and he will "bleed" a faintly glowing, yellow-white substance which does not flow like a liquid but spreads from his body in wispy, vein-like patterns. This does not seem to be blood, but rather some form of energy (Darkness?). Upon taking enough damage and losing his composure, his body becomes entirely black with a glowing yellow-white vein-like pattern across his skin, and his ruff stands up in long, sharp spikes like a threat display. |
| Since Lightfall we have learned that The Witness places each of his Disciples in a "sarcophagus" which armours them in Darkness and alters their appearance to some degree. The Tormentors and Nezarec share the same red exosekelton-like armour as Rhulk. Calus has a similarly bucket-shaped helmet. Nezarec and Calus also have similar beaded bracelets/anklets and decorations. We do not know what Rhulk looked like before he became a Disciple. | |
